The FBLA involved Northwood students visited Bluefield College on Thursday, October 1st. Seventy-six students from Northwood went on the trip and twenty-three schools from the New River Region, including Northwood, came to the college. The 2014-2015 Gold Seal Chapter high schools were George Wythe, Tazewell, and Rural Retreat. Before  some leaders stood up to talk and thank the members for coming the National Anthem was sung by Northwood High School senior, Jordan Evans.

After the opening session, there were eight workshops for the students to choose from including FBLA Bingo, Project ASK, and FBLA 101. After walking around the campus, going through the workshops, and taking school pictures, the students left to eat at the restaurants at the Wytheville Shopping Center and shop at the different stores there. Finally the Northwood FBLA members got back to their school at the end of fourth block.
